Ready, Set, Fun Run!
ABOUT THE FUN RUN
The Fun Run is a fitness-based fundraiser that teaches students all about teamwork and a healthy lifestyle, and it benefits our school in the process!
This annual event is sponsored by the PTA and is run by a team of parent volunteers. That means there’s very little overhead and almost every dollar raised goes directly to the school! Our fundraising software is powered by Boosterthon at FunRun.com, making raising money for our school simpler, more profitable, and more fun.
Students will run in the Fun Run during the school day on Friday, October 3rd.
In the two weeks leading up to the Fun Run, students will ask friends and family members for pledges. On Fun Run Day, each student will run about 35 laps. For example, a pledge of $1 per lap, equals a $35 donation. Students will receive incentive prizes for securing pledges! Log on to FunRun.com for details.
2025 FUNDRAISING GOAL
This year, our fundraising goal is $75,000.00. The PTA works closely with the ARCAE Leadership Team to identify and fund school enhancements that strengthen our future leaders and foster unique exposure to the arts for each and every Student in accordance with the School’s goals.
The PTA provides funding for the School’s extensive Artist in Residency Programs offered by the Engaging Creative Minds Program, which is provided to all Students throughout the school year. Additionally, the PTA is funding a Hip Hop Dance Residency for all students for the 2025-2026 School Year.
The PTA also matches the ABC Art Grant to provide an enhanced artistic environment.
The PTA commissions and funds Artists to create masterpieces such as the expansive and captivating mural recently added in the School’s Atrium area.
The funds raised by the PTA are also used to support academic learning enhancements such as ‘Battle of the Books’ (for the 4th and 5th grades). We also support school-wide STEAM initiatives. We not only provide funding for software, supplies, and equipment, but we also fund Professional Development for Teachers and Staff and help to fund the School’s chosen STEAM Initiative, Project Lead the Way.
Finally, the PTA also hosts robust monthly Teacher Appreciation Events and fulfills Classroom Wish List requests for Teachers to give them both the appreciation and actual tools needed to create the most amazing and supportive learning environment for our students.
If we meet our Fundraising Goal our Principals will do the Principals’ Obstacle Course, which is always a lot of fun for everyone!

Step 1
REGISTER at Funrun.com! Help your Students SECURE PLEDGES from friends, family and businesses. Some businesses such as Bosch, Delta and Benefitfocus match Fun Run pledges.
Step 2
VOLUNTEER! Volunteers are needed each school day from Tuesday, September 23rd through Friday, October 3rd to help to assemble and pass out daily prizes earned by Students for the pledges that they secure. These daily prizes get Students excited and motivated to participate in the Fun Run.
Volunteers are also needed on the day of the Fun Run, which is on Friday, October 3rd to assist with getting the students excited and keeping the Fun Run organized.
As a reminder, all guests will need to check-in at the front office with a picture ID and all volunteers must be approved in advance by CCSD. You can access the CCSD Volunteer Application by clicking below.
